The New Mediacurrent.com: Adventures in Decoupled Drupal
In our first post that announced the new Mediacurrent redesign, we looked at the evolution of Mediacurrent.com over the years and talked through the over goals of the relaunch. Now let's take a look under the hood to see some of the cool stuff we did and discuss what our development team learned along the way.
It’s Here! Announcing the Launch of the New Mediacurrent.com
Since joining Mediacurrent in 2009, I've seen firsthand how our company has grown and evolved, and how our website has mirrored those changes. Today, I am thrilled to announce the launch of our newly redesigned website, mediacurrent.com.
We've come a long way since 2007!
Contrib Committee Status Review for August, 2015
With many members of staff on vacation for part of the month, and with some projects under crunch to finish off, August was a little light for contributions. That said, I think we made some good progress for the work we did do.

Some limited but good work was sponsored this month by some of our clients:
Contrib Committee Status Review for July, 2015
July was a rather busy month, with our gang pretty involved in two East coast conferences, between helping to run one and attending & presenting at another.

Video: Metatag 1.5
With meta tags still being important for search engine optimization and improving how content looks when shared via social networks like Facebook and Twitter, it's worth learning how to use Drupal's Metatag module the right way. Contrib Committee Status Review for May, 2015
As with most other Drupal development studios, our May was dominated by DrupalCon. For the first week we were doing final preparations - making sure everything was ready for our booth, adding the final polish to our presentations, and packing for the trip. Needless to say, it was an excellent week from many perspectives, and we look forward to DrupalCon being in New Orleans next year.
5 Tips for Drupal Newbies
The attendee list at this week’s Atlanta Drupal Meetup group ran a wide gauntlet. There was a mix of business owners, newbies, marketers, and even someone with a Drupal.org ID under 1000. We broke up our normal presentation format and had informal talks about Drupalcon Denver, the job market, and trends. As usual, we went around the room and allowed for introductions and announcements. When one of the attendees, we’ll call him “Jack”, was in the hot seat, he gave a typical hello, but then broke the introduction format and asked a question back to the crowd. He asked, “I’ve only been working with Drupal for a few weeks, what tips do you have for those that are just starting out?”
