Drupal contributions

With the year winding down, our staff were getting projects wrapped up and then had some much deserved end-of-year vacation time with their respective families and friends.

Just over a year ago I decided to repurpose an internal contrib-focused meeting and make an open meeting to support contributing to Drupal, called the Contrib Half Hour.

With the year winding down the month was a little quiet, but we still got some good contributions going.

It has been a while, but welcome back to the Mediacurrent Contrib Committee Review. Each month we’ll detail the many and varied contributions that our team made during this month, this time for October.

We recently put together some internal tools to see what our staff are contributing on drupal.org. Now it’s easier to see the great contributions that our team have made which have helped us retain a fifth position rank on the Drupal Marketplace, an achievement we're quite proud of.

As the (Northern hemisphere's) summer came to a close, and those of us with children started to get ready for another school year, we eked out some good work during the month.

As crazy random happenstances occur, this July saw more people taking time for vacationing, being ill and attending conferences in any single month than we’d had before, excluding DrupalCon months of course. That said, we still managed to squeeze in some good contributions.

With summer in full swing here in the USA, some of us were taking some vacation time, or moving, so our contributions were a little low.

With DrupalCon over, many of us were heavily focused on client work for the month. Thankfully, we have many great clients that are eager to help push the Drupal project forward.
