Twig Blocks are very useful if you are a Drupal developer. They are used for inheritance and act as placeholders and replacements at the same time. However, they can be confusing in part because as a Drupal developer the first thing one thinks when they hear “Block”, is Drupal blocks. Twig blocks are not related in any way to Drupal blocks.
