Creating Content with YAML Content Module
In my previous post, I introduced the YAML Content module and described the goal and usage for it at a high level. In this post, I aim to provide a more in-depth look at how to write content for the module and how to take advantage of a couple of the more advanced options included.
Introducing the YAML Content Module
I always look forward to DrupalCon each year for a number of reasons. One of the reasons chief among them is the refreshing excitement of being immersed in the community. I always enjoy the encouragement and guidance our community offers. A number of the conversations I had during DrupalCon offered this same encouragement and guidance to push forward with a public release of a module I've been working on and maintaining privately. Following up on this advice, I'd like to proudly introduce my new module: YAML Content.
Deep Dive Into Translating Paragraphs
At Drupalcon, Jay Callicott and I presented “Multilingual in Drupal 8: A soup to nuts guide featuring VisitTheUSA.com and Habitat.org”, which featured a step-by-step guide to setting up a Drupal 8 site for content, interface and config translation. We ended up getting a lot of questions (I took this as a good sign), especially about how translation worked with the Paragraphs module.
