Sheree Hill

1. What’s your role at Mediacurrent, both internally and client-related?

As creative director at Mediacurrent, my internal facing responsibilities include managing brand projects, working on our brand strategy and standards, and overseeing all brand design assets, including presentations, proposals, contracts, signage, marketing collateral, and digital media. I work closely with the marketing, design, and sales teams and take part in scoping and estimating design engagements.

On the client side of things, I may create prototypes, design mockups, logos, style tiles, or design media, but more often I provide the design team with process direction and design feedback.

2. Give us an idea of what professional path brought you here.

I worked in corporate marketing for LexusNexis (formerly Choicepoint) while I was pursuing my BA in multimedia and web design at the Art Institute of Atlanta. Upon graduating, I landed a Sr. Designer role with Ant Farm Interactive where I grew my animation and advertising chops for a few years. I moved up into an Art Director role for a consulting and digital agency, Whitmanhart, where I had the opportunity to work on full service engagements that included commercial and national spot work.

I learned digital strategies such as influencer marketing, which my partner and I offered as a service in the digital agency we created, VCO. I came to Mediacurrent because I wanted to be a part of a diverse culture with a focus in higher education and non-profit.
