It’s a little late in the day (year?), so here’s a roundup of what we got up to last October.
Client sponsored
- Melissa Bent turned my tiny OTL Logout module into an optional feature for the Password Reset Landing Page module.
- Lee Nakamura provided some fixes to the Portuguese-Brazilian localization project.
- Mark "Shrop" Shropshire and Ryan Gibson collaborated on an initial port of the TFA Basic module to Drupal 8 and have started a Slack channel called #contrib-tfa to coordinate further improvements to the TFA module suite.
- I put together an improvement for the Drupal Console block plugin generator so the output matched Drupal’s coding standards, and worked out a fix for the simple-linkedin-php library to make it compatible with PHP 7.
Self-directed
- Shrop joined some locals in Charlotte, NC to plan to improve their local community, including a new event for 2018 which will be announced in January.
- I continued some internal testing of the Drupal Remote Dashboard (DRD) system, which we’ll be contributing to shortly. I also helped the SendGrid module with its git repo, helped fix tests for the Title module, and triaged the Drafty module’s issue queue.
Blog posts

- Bayo Fodeke showed how to theme the Webform module in Drupal 7.

That’s all folks
October turned out to be a somewhat quiet month after all, so stay tuned for more next time!
